What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels used for the same operational purposes.

How we use cookies

On the studio site we use technologies needed to load pages securely and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the site.

Analytics (PostHog): When configured, we use PostHog for pageviews and pageleaves, referrer and UTM attribution, Core Web Vitals, heatmap aggregates, feature-flag evaluation, and a small set of named conversion events (outbound product visits, Discord clicks, and email/mailto clicks). We do not use session recording, indiscriminate click autocapture, or surveys on the studio site. IP addresses are anonymized in PostHog. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may also use Umami for lightweight page-view analytics when that integration is configured.

Types we use

• Essential: security, load balancing, and session behavior required for the site (and, on product domains, login or dashboard access where applicable).
• Analytics: PostHog (and Umami when configured) usage measurement—pageviews, performance signals, heatmaps, and named conversion events—to improve the studio site.
• Preferences: remembered UI settings where a feature stores a choice on your device.

Managing cookies

The studio site does not currently show a separate cookie consent banner. You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or restrict cookies and site data). Blocking essential cookies may affect how pages load.

Where privacy law requires prior consent for non-essential analytics, we intend to add an appropriate consent mechanism and will update this notice when that ships. You can also contact us to ask how analytics is configured for your region.

Changes

We may update this notice when our cookie practices change. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
