1) Who controls your data

2) What we collect

We collect data in three ways: (a) you provide it; (b) it's collected automatically; (c) we receive it from third parties with your permission or lawful basis.

A) Studio website (buildwithdani.com)

• Device & usage data: IP address (short-lived), browser type, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps.
• Cookies / analytics: See our Cookie Notice. When configured, we use PostHog on the studio site for pageviews and pageleaves, referrer and UTM data, Core Web Vitals, heatmap aggregates, feature flags, and named conversion events (product outbound visits, Discord, mailto). We do not use session recording or indiscriminate click autocapture. IPs are anonymized. We may also use Umami when configured.
• Contact: email address and message content when you write us (e.g. mailto or email delivery tools).

B) Flotix (Roblox script protection & licensing) — live

Flotix provides Roblox script protection and license key management, including game binding and account-based services.

We may collect:

License & usage data:

• License keys
• Roblox Game IDs associated with licenses
• License status, usage limits, and validation activity

Account data:

• Email address
• User account information
• Purchased products and subscription status (if applicable)

Operational data:

• API requests for license validation
• Basic metadata required to ensure security, prevent abuse, and enforce licensing

Flotix does not collect personal data from players of Roblox games using our systems. Data processed through Flotix is limited to developer accounts and system functionality needed to provide the service.

C) Astrix (Discord bot) — live

• Discord account & server data you authorize: Discord user IDs, guild/server IDs, roles, channel IDs, and message metadata needed for moderation, leveling, economy, and support tickets.
• Bot configuration: settings you configure in the Astrix dashboard or via Discord commands.
• Operational logs: command usage, ticket activity, and abuse-prevention signals.

D) Parked ideas (Arrivio, AutoIQ) — not offered

Arrivio (Shopify helpdesk & returns) and AutoIQ (vehicle diagnostics) appear on the studio site as product ideas only. They are not in active development or available to customers. We do not collect store data, vehicle data, or other product-specific personal data for these ideas through the Services today. If either product launches, we will describe the data we collect in an updated version of this Policy.

E) Payments & account

If you purchase paid features on a live product, our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) collects and processes payment info. We receive limited billing metadata (e.g., last 4 digits, expiration month/year, billing ZIP) but never store full card numbers.

We may associate purchases with user accounts and licenses for access control, support, and product functionality.

3) Why we use data (legal bases)

• Provide the Services: account creation, authentication, core functionality. (Contract)
• Improve & secure: debug, prevent abuse, measure performance. (Legitimate interests / Consent)
• Communicate: respond to requests, product updates. (Legitimate interests / Consent)
• Comply with law: tax, accounting, lawful requests. (Legal obligation)

4) Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion at any time (see Your Rights).

5) Sharing & subprocessors

We share data with trusted providers who help us operate the Services (hosting, analytics, payments, email). We require appropriate confidentiality and security commitments. See our live list at /subprocessors.

We do not sell personal information.

6) International transfers

Where data leaves your region, we use approved safeguards (e.g., SCCs for EEA/UK). Details available on request.

7) Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, CPRA), you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete your data
• Port your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise rights, email privacy@buildwithdani.com. We may verify your identity. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

8) Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or as required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9) Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
